THE ART OF NAVIGATING
FOR ORGANISATIONS
When thinking harder isn't the answer
A creative experience that gives leaders and teams space to step back, reconnect and discover new perspectives.
More information does not always bring greater clarity
For most of our lives we rely on what we already know; our experiences and familiar ways of making sense of the world.
But when these stop working, we need the capacity to think beyond what we know. A deeper sense of knowing. You could call it creative thinking.
It is the ability to see patterns you don't normally see, find angles you haven't considered and discover ways forward that weren't obvious.
Sometimes we don't need more answers, just a space to see differently.

Creativity reveals what we don't yet see
Creativity is not reserved for artists. It is our ability to look beyond familiar patterns, connect what seems separate and imagine possibilities we can't yet see.
It brings more of what you know into view: experience, intuition, imagination and what people sense before they can explain it.
As technology becomes increasingly capable of giving us answers, our human ability to question, explore and make connections matters more than ever.
This experience gives teams space to reconnect with their creative capacity and also, with each other.

This is experienced, not explained
Teams are guided through a series of layers using paint, reflection, music and storytelling. There is no finished picture to aim for and nothing to get right.
With each layer old habits begin to loosen, people respond to what unfolds, individually and alongside their colleagues.
No creative experience is needed. The painting is not the purpose. It is the way into the experience.
What becomes possible when you see differently
Every team brings something different to the experience, but people often notice:

A wider perspective
Connections and possibilities become visible that can be difficult to see from inside the day to day.
“Nobody responded in the same way to the guidance. It showed me how many ways there are to a final decision.”
- Charity CEO

Greater awareness
Assumptions, habits and team dynamics come into view, creating more choice in how people respond.
“I hadn’t realised how set in my own thought pattern I was until I relaxed into what Marie was asking us to do.”
- Marketing Director, Financial Services

Stronger connection
Stepping outside familiar roles changes the quality of conversation, listening and understanding within the team.
“It fostered not only unique creativity but also collaboration, and a sense of unity within our team.”
- KJS, Solicitors team member

Space to reset
The pace allows mental noise to settle, creating a sense of calm, renewed energy and greater wellbeing.
“A welcome pause in the chaos of normal life to stop, think, reflect and express yourself.”
- Vistage participant

Bring this to your team
It starts with a blank canvas, three colours and infinite possibilities.
Through the process, participants experience what it feels like to navigate without a map, and to let something emerge rather than forcing it into shape.
They leave with a painting that mirrors that journey and reminds them how they find their way without having all the answers.
Let’s explore what you would like to create space for within your team, and what the right experience could look like.
