THE ART OF NAVIGATING

FOR THERAPISTS AND OTHER HELPING PROFESSIONALS

The art of letting go

A restorative and reflective CPD experience designed to support those who hold so much for others.

Supporting the person behind the practice

Therapists create safe spaces for others, remaining present to experiences that can be difficult for clients to carry alone. But what they hold does not always disappear when a session ends.

The Art of Navigating offers therapists a different kind of reflective space: an opportunity to release accumulated tension, calm the nervous system and reconnect with their own creativity and inner resources.

What returns to the therapy room

Supporting the therapist also supports the work they do with others.

Release

Space to let go of accumulated tension and the emotional weight carried through the work.

Integrate

A slower, creative process through which experience, insight and inner wisdom can be absorbed.

Restore

An opportunity to calm the nervous system and return to practice feeling more present, resourced and receptive.

When therapists have space to attend to their own experience, they can bring renewed presence to the people they support.

Another way of knowing

Much of a therapist’s professional life takes place through words, reflection and interpretation. The Art of Navigating invites practitioners to step beyond familiar ways of processing and enter a slower, more embodied experience.

Through guided meditation, layered painting, music and storytelling, participants are gently taken through a creative process designed to calm the nervous system, release tension and allow what has been carried to settle, surface and be integrated.

No artistic skill is needed. There is nothing to interpret correctly and nothing to get right.

When the therapist is held

“I felt as though I had spent the day in a cocoon of warmth, depth and creativity, with a deep, slow process taking place inside me. Somewhere outside daily life, in a different sphere.

Every detail created such a haven: the holding presence, the music, the meditations and, at the heart of it, this amazing workshop.

It felt as though I had been on Vipassana for a week. It was such a special, unforgettable and unbelievably nurturing day.”

“Marie is an excellent facilitator. She delivers with clarity and warmth while allowing space for deep reflection. The day helped me recognise how I respond internally when meaning is not yet clear, and how that shapes my clinical work."

I'm Marie

The work I do is shaped by having spent time in worlds that rarely speak to each other.

My background spans business and creativity, including founding and selling a creative company, alongside qualifications in coaching and counselling and many years facilitating reflective and experiential work.

Working across these worlds has taught me that clarity rarely comes from logic or intuition alone. It emerges when analytical thinking meets the freedom of imagination.

This integrative perspective informs how I facilitate and support therapists and other helping professionals to release what they carry, reconnect with their own inner resources and return to their work with renewed presence.
