In times of uncertainty, we often look for better answers.
But what we really need is a better way of navigating.
The inner compass is not a fixed but dynamic method

Loss of Orientation
Uncertainty is part of life. What is different today is the pace at which things shift.
Under pressure and speed, we fall back on past experience and familiar ways of thinking. Speed is rewarded. Reaching a conclusion brings relief, and that relief is easily mistaken for clarity.
Decisions are made quickly, but attention narrows. Important information is missed, not because it isn’t there, but because there is no space to notice it.

What is lost is orientation, the capacity to widen perspective, hold tension and choose deliberately when there are no clear answers. Navigating these conditions, requires cognitive flexibility and access to the creative mind, the ability to see beyond old solutions that no longer fit.

This is where the work begins.
Thinking Clearly Without Maps
When familiar approaches no longer fit, the answer is rarely to push harder or gather more input. It is to change how we are thinking.
I work at the intersection of analysis and intuition, structure and imagination. Clear thinking does not come from logic alone, and creativity without structure rarely gets things off the ground. Both are needed to make sense of complexity and to find a way forward.

This work focuses on developing the capacity to pause without stalling, to hold uncertainty without rushing to resolution and to notice what becomes visible only when attention widens.

Over time, this leads to better decisions, a steadier voice and a clearer sense of direction — not because answers are guaranteed, but because the quality of thinking has changed.

What Changes
People often arrive with capability, experience and insight. What is missing is not intelligence or ambition, but the conditions needed to think clearly and listen to themselves under pressure.
As the work unfolds, they become less reactive and more discerning. Decisions are still made, but with greater care. Attention widens, allowing more information, nuance and context to be taken in.

Over time, people learn to listen more closely to their own inner voice. Not impulse or opinion, but a quieter form of judgment that integrates experience, intuition and reflection. This is where wisdom emerges.

The result is better decisions, a clearer sense of direction and action that feels considered rather than compelled.

At its core, this work is about improving the quality of thinking that sits behind choice and action.

My coaching with Marie was transformational. It has made me more clear and focused in who I am rather than just what I do. I am so grateful for how she was able to open up my thinking to new concepts and ideas; my world and experiences are so much richer for it.
— Susie Willis, CEO (Healthcare)

Hello, I'm Marie!
The work I do is shaped by having spent time in worlds that rarely speak.
It all started at the school gate, after a career break at PwC. Someone asked to commission one of my paintings. My first instinct was - But I'm not a qualified artist, how could she possibly want to pay for this? That moment changed everything.

What followed was ten years building, scaling and selling a creative business.

That experience of crossing between worlds, of learning to trust what logic alone couldn't justify, and combining structure with imagination became the thread running through everything I now do.

This is the perspective I bring to my work. Not as a method, but as a way of navigating complexity and change.

This work supports people to develop greater clarity, judgment and voice in how they act, lead and support in uncertain times.

Marie encouraged me to broaden my perspective and step out of my comfort zone. She is very calm and inspiring to work with, but also provides practical help and guidance. I can now articulate my brand much clearer. I would highly recommend working with her.
